The Steel Tank Roof Kit is a rigid, water-impermeable, cover comprising overlapping steel roof panels. Manufactured from G600 galvanised steel, Butek Tanks steel roof kits are the most durable covers, offering the greatest protection for your water storage.
Engineered to withstand UK snow and wind conditions, while also adhering to health and safety regulations for air gaps.
Sizes
Available for tank diameters of 1.83m (6ft) to 14.63m (48ft).
Variations
Butek Tanks steel roof covers are available at varying pitches of 10° and 30°. The 10° steel roof cover is the most popular variant and includes a central support manufactured from either galvanised steel or PVC, depending on the size of the tank, the contents to be stored and the location of the installation.
The 30° steel roof is a self-supporting structure and, therefore, does not require a central support. This variation is commonly used on extremely tall tanks.
What’s Included?
Our steel roof covers are supplied with a lockable access hatch to allow regular maintenance, cleaning and testing of the contents stored within, whilst complying with public and private liability insurance.
Extra access hatches can be requested and altered to suit the use of a copper float and ball valve inlet configuration.
Customisation
Like the steel water storage tanks, each roof can be powder coated in a variety of RAL colours, enabling customisation for aesthetic preference as well as offer further corrosion resistance.
Installation
Each steel roof kit is supplied with easy-to-follow instructions to help you install the tanks yourself.
Alternatively, we can install it for you. Our dedicated tank installation teams consist of PASMA and IPAF trained technicians, meaning we can safely work at height, utilising scaffold towers and mobile platforms, such as scissor lifts and cherry pickers.
