Butek Tanks manufactures corrugated steel slurry tanks designed for agricultural slurry storage and industrial slurry storage on large-scale farming and commercial operations. Our slurry storage tanks are available from 280m³ to 1,250m³, lined with Landflex® ES and engineered to CIRIA C759 standards. Slurry Tank Sizes and Specifications

Each slurry storage tank is manufactured from high-grade galvanised steel with an anti-corrosion coating and our Landflex® ES lining, designed to safely contain animal waste including cattle manure, pig slurry and poultry waste. MZ fittings are supplied with each tank. All tanks have been independently structurally calculated in accordance with CIRIA C759a and C759b, with design compliance to UK and European standards:

Every Butek slurry storage tank is lined with Landflex® ES, our specialist agricultural lining designed to safely store slurry, manure and animal waste. The lining creates a fully sealed, impermeable barrier that prevents leakage into the surrounding land, protecting soil and water from nitrate and ammonia contamination. It is resistant to the gases produced by decomposing slurry, including methane, hydrogen sulphide and carbon dioxide, keeping your slurry store safe and your site compliant.

Meets UK Agricultural Slurry Storage Regulations

All Butek slurry tanks are engineered to meet UK regulations for agricultural slurry storage, which require a minimum of four months slurry storage capacity for livestock farms across England, Scotland and Wales. Our tanks are independently structurally calculated to CIRIA C759a and C759b standards and comply with BS 5502-50, the code of practice for agricultural slurry storage. Every tank we install comes with the documentation farmers and land agents need to demonstrate regulatory compliance and satisfy Environment Agency permit requirements.
